As uncertainty from the emergence of Omicron (a variant of the COVID-19 virus) rises,  Travel Insured International has updated their voucher guidelines to allow clients more resilience in making their travel plans.

As of 1/5/2022, if your travel plans have been impacted by COVID-19, Travel Insured will offer a voucher for future travel plans, provided you meet the eligibility requirements below:

• If you know your new dates of travel, Travel Insured will update their protection plan to reflect the new dates
• If your original purchase date was on June 28th 2021 or earlier, the expiration date on the voucher will be 12/31/2023
• If your original purchase date was on June 29th 2021, or later, Travel Insured will go back to the 3 years (915) days from initial application date that was in place, pre-COVID-19

If you don't know your new travel dates yet, Travel Insured will note your current protection plan and email you a voucher for future use. The expiration date is based on your original purchase dates (see above for details)

• Travel has not and will not take place due to COVID-19
• A claim hasn’t already been filed against your policy
• The voucher will list an expiration date, based on the original date of purchase. The new trip will need to depart by this date.
